Healthcare Leader in
eastern NC is recruiting a neurohospitalist to join its hospital based stroke
neurology service at 900+ bed hospital.-- Applicants
should be board certified or board eligible in neurology. Vascular Fellowship
training is preferred.-- Hospital is Joint
Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center accredited. Candidates must have a
minimum of 1 year post fellowship training to be considered.-- The existing neuroscience team consists
of--8 neurosurgeons, including 2 dual-trained cerebrovascular
neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, stroke neurohospitalists,
neurologists, a neurointensivist, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and
Physician Assistants.-- 7 on/7 off or 14
consecutive, Consultative service with 1500 stroke admissions annually and 24
bed NSICU led by Neurointensivist and large rehab center for inpatient and
outpatient support for neurology patients.----
