Job Description:

Now hiring long and short haul Tractor Trailer Drivers. Truck drivers may need to be able to lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, squat, and climb ladders or stairs. Truck driver candidates should have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.





Driving
Operating trucks safely, following traffic laws, and adhering to company policies and procedures








Hauling
Transporting materials, supplies, and equipment between distant points








Loading and unloading
Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that items are properly secured during transit








Maintenance
Performing daily maintenance of the truck, such as refueling and cleaning, and ensuring any mechanical issues are corrected before driving








Planning
Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules, taking into account traffic and weather conditions








Communication
Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers








Documentation
Completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy, and maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations








Safety
Complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times, and reporting defects, accidents, and violations
